It was a fine Thanksgiving weekend. We were in Seattle visiting old friends from Toronto.
I certainly ate my share of turkey too, including the leftover sandwiches & soup. I'm pretty full now.
However we did lots of other Thanksgiving type events besides just eating including; The Santa Claus Parade, Backgammon, Cribbage, Mountain biking & Street hockey too .
Then I spent all Sunday in the garage preparing my old 1961 Pontiac Bonneville for paint. If you recall I bought this beauty in September and am in the process of restoring it. So far I have put in new plugs, wires, distrubutor, points, condensor, turn signals, all fluids, filters, belts and hoses. Plus I rebuilt the wiper motor and replaced the power steering pump & fuel pump. All myself too. Now I am onto the cosmetics and replaced the old crashed in doors with 2 unbent ones from a wrecker and have sent it off to be painted. In the meantime I am straightening and polishing all the chrome trim and there is lot. Remember the '60's and their love of chrome.
Here's how it looked yesterday.
