Windance is going solar!  In a continuing effort to reduce our impact on the environment, we have added photovoltaic panels to generate solar electricity for our store. 

On April 22, 2004 (Earth Day) we broke ground to begin construction of the foundation for our solar panels.  We are using U.S. made 185 watt solar panels.  12 panels are mounted on each Wattsun Dual Access Trackers.  These highly efficient solar trackers rotate and tilt the panels to follow the path of the sun and get the best exposure possible. The panels went on-line at the beginning of June, 2004.  Below is the finished project.
