It is better to rig at Doug's Beach and sail up. It is also illegal to cross the railroad tracks anywhere BUT a marked crossing. Failure to obey this puts access in jeopardy for everyone else. Here's a tip on how to carry your gear with ease.
Launch: You have to launch from Rowena or Doug's Beach and sail up or down to Doug's West. See above note and tip in "Rigging Area" section.
Parking: It is better to park at Doug's and sail upwind, as it is illegal to cross the tracks here. See above note and tip in "Rigging Area" section..
