THE BENCHMARK FLAT FIVE When it comes to all-round performance the Vapor has established the new benchmark. The concept of the Vapor II was to develop a kite that maintains the steering characteristic of a high performance C-Kite with a new level of extended wind range and static depower traditionally only found in bridled kites. The key to this is the flat 5 configuration featuring an advanced 5th line system that supports the leading edge of the kite. This enables enhanced safety, depower and overall performance. |

MORE BOW VERSATILITY &
C-KITE FUNCTIONALITY The Flow combines the incredible wind range and sheeting ability of a BOW kite with the direct steering and bar simplicity of a C-Kite. This makes the Flow excellent for all levels of riding, from dedicated wave riding to freeride & freestyle. For 2008 we reduced the bar pressure and increased the steering speed and response, using a slightly finer foil entry and angle of attack on the larger sizes. This translates into improved upwind ability and speed across the window. |

Airush are proud to introduce the Vapor, a Flat 5 kite that is setting the new benchmark in kiteboarding.
The Vapor focuses on maintaining the steering characteristics of a high performance C-Kite with a new level of extended wind range and depower traditionally only found in bridled kites. The Flat 5 configuration features a super functional 5 line design without any additional bridling. The Vapor is excellent for all levels of riding from dedicated wave riding to dedicated freestyle and is perfect for hooked in or unhooked riding.
Unlike traditional 5th line kites, the Vapor has a 5th line fixed stopper which keeps the 5th line exactly the same length as your front lines. This enables you to adjust your depower and 5th line length in one go without having to adjust and re-cleat your 5th line every time the wind changes. It also prevents “bowed out” slack section in the fifth line and maintains the correct amount of tension on the leading edge. Therefore stabilizing the leading edge curve, eliminating the steering lag or tangles which are caused by bridles.

Halo
In its second year, our dedicated bow design has seen and intense year of refinement. Working within the parameters of the original bow concept, we have focused on increased stability in smaller sizes and improved steering and responsiveness in the bigger sizes.
