Both Aluminum and Carbon editions use a GeoLock load-bearing connection with a carbon rear Stabilizer. The North Sonar 1500R Aluminum Foil Edition yields the perfect ratio between durability for higher loads and light performance for wing, surf, SUP, and kite foil. Its AF72 foil mast is for prone surf foiling and riding in shallower waters, while the AF85 foil mast stabilizes your rougher rides.

The North Sonar 1500R Carbon Foil Edition offers stiffer, intuitive feedback and a more direct feel. Its CF72 foil mast is ideal for riding and prone surf foiling in shallow waters, while the tapered CF85 foil mast stabilizes your performance in choppy waters.

The North Sonar 1500R Front Wing takes off effortlessly, thanks to its loose and carvy performance. This Sonar front wing is the perfect companion for prone foil surfing on medium to large waves, with its impressive control even at top speeds. Since the reflexed wings can be positioned at a lower angle of attack, the North Sonar 1500R Front Wing feels smaller regarding speed range and responsiveness.
