Why Buy A Used Windsurfing Board?
Nothing quite compares to the thrill and adrenaline of ripping across the water on a windsurfing board lit up in gale force winds. But the gear aint cheap and you need lots of it to be fully dialed for any conditions, including ideally two to three different boards for different wind conditions and riding styles. Buying a used windsurfing board is a great way to get your fix without breaking the bank.
Windsurf gear tends to be well-built and durable. It lasts a long time and is typically reparable. The technology is also mature, meaning that great modern windsurf boards have been on the market for over a decade, so you can be reasonably confident that buying last year's model, or even a windsurfing board from five or ten years ago, will still shred and put a grin on your face.
And best of all, if you're the kind of person who sees a scuff or ding or repair in a windsurf board and enjoys imagining the epic session that put it there and all the shredding the windsurf board must have been through and all the stories it could tell and enjoy being part of that, you'll never buy new again.
