Customer Satisfaction
At Windance we’re all about making sure you have the right gear to have a great time on the water. Our knowledgeable staff are here to give you the most up to date information on all our products and industry trends. Your satisfaction with our products and advice is our number one priority, and we’re confident you’ll be happy with your gear for years to come. Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned pro, our staff are always available to answer all your questions.
If you’re not completely satisfied or you have warranty issues, we’re here to help you through the process. We only carry top-of-the-line products here at Windance, but if you’re not completely satisfied and need to return or exchange an item check out our Returns and Exchanges policies here [link]. Occasionally you might find your gear has a manufacturing defect, but don’t worry, most of our gear has at least a 1-year warranty, so check out our Warranty policies here [link].
Warranty
Our fantastic brands typically offer a full 1-year warranty on new products. If you have a brand-new item with any damages, leaky valves, or rips that are not a result of normal wear-and-tear or from an accident you are most likely dealing with a manufacturing defect that falls under warranty protection.
To initiate the warranty process, email us at windance@windance.com with the following information:
- Name, date of purchase and/or receipt, and your contact info including phone number
- Picture of the product as a whole
- Picture of the serial number
- Picture of the area of defect
- Closeup picture(s) of the defect
Once we’ve got your info, we’ll verify your purchase and initiate the warranty process with the manufacturer. Manufacturers make their own assessment of the damage and appropriate remediation but most commonly will opt to replace or professionally repair the defective item.
While the warranty process can be completed within a few days, it’s not uncommon for it to take 2-6 weeks, as some scenarios require more extensive dialog, inspection, or logistics.
Hold for Pick-Up
Hood River is one of the best spots for windsurfing and kiteboarding during those late summer months, and we know how cumbersome lugging around all your gear can be – especially if you’re not planning to use it where you live! Luckily here at Windance you can purchase your gear online or over the phone and store it here for free for up to 30 days!

Price Match
We know you’ve got choices when it comes to where to shop for your gear, and we want nothing more than our Windance customers to feel like they’re getting the best deals available. We strive to give you the best deals whenever we can, but if you found an item we carry elsewhere for cheaper, let us know! We’re happy to price match any item we carry!
