Trade In Your Used Wind Sports Gear

At Windance, we make upgrading your gear easy. If you’ve got gear and you’re ready for something new, we want to hear from you!

Here’s how it works:

  • Fill out our Trade-In Form to tell us what used gear you want to trade and what new gear you want to buy.

  • We’ll review and get back to you quickly with an estimate and next steps.

  • If everything checks out, you’ll be trading in your old gear and riding your new setup in no time!

Conditions

Windance is happy to offer you a trade-in assessment of any of your wind sports gear, with the following conditions:

  • Windance reserves the right to refuse any gear for trade-in for any reason.

  • Trade-in value can only be applied as a discount directly to a new purchase - it can't be added to store credit, exchanged for cash, or applied to past purchases

  • You are responsible for retrieving your gear if it is not accepted for trade-in

  • Gear that is damaged, non-functional, not ready to ride, dirty, or otherwise not store-ready is not eligible for trade-in

 

Our Trade-In Guarantee for Gear Bought at Windance 

We stand by our customers and our gear. If you purchased your gear new at full price from Windance within the last 24 months, and it’s still in excellent, ride-ready condition with no damage or repairs, we’ll honor a guaranteed trade-in credit toward a new, full-price item of the same type.

Trade-In Guarantee Value

  • Within 12 months of purchase: receive 30% of the original purchase price.

  • Between 12–24 months of purchase: receive 25% of the original purchase price.

Eligibility for Trade-In Guarantee

  • The trade-in item must have been purchased new and at full price from Windance for over $200.

  • The original purchase of the trade-in gear must be tied to your customer account in our system.

  • The gear must be in excellent condition and ready to use with no repairs or damage.
