The Ocean Rodeo Mako effectively controls vibration through chop by relying solely on its spherical shape. Even at the tips, the board is rigid, which causes all that water pressure to be forced into the deep concave.

The Ocean Rodeo Mako is very different to load up than a traditional twin-tip because you cannot load the rail and store energy in the tip. Instead, you must rely on being very generously powered and sheeting your kite for boost, which produces nice floaty jumps with extended travel and silky soft touchdowns downwind with the concave sucking up the landings.
