Original TITAN Monobloc Carbon Foil Mast
F-One Carbon Mast 16 Monobloc – T1
A stiff, durable and direct carbon mast for riders using F-One’s original TITAN foil system.
The F-One Carbon Mast 16 Monobloc – T1 combines a 16 mm profile, pre-preg carbon construction, integrated top plate and original TITAN mast foot in one rigid structure. This full Monobloc design minimizes movement between the board, mast and foil, giving riders immediate steering response and clear feedback through every turn.
Designed as the durable all-around option in F-One’s original TITAN carbon mast range, the Carbon Mast 16 offers an excellent compromise between stiffness, glide and impact resistance. It is well suited to wing, surf, SUP and kite foiling, particularly for riders who value precise handling and dependable rigidity over the absolute lowest drag of a 14 mm High Modulus mast.

Why Choose the Carbon Mast 16 T1?
Direct Foil Feedback
The integrated top plate, mast and TITAN foot eliminate the separate bolted connections found on a modular aluminum mast. Rider input transfers directly to the foil for precise steering, controlled carving and immediate feedback.
Stiff 16 mm Profile
The 16 mm profile provides strong bending and torsional rigidity using standard high-quality carbon fibers. It is designed to deliver stiffness comparable to the thinner T1 HM Carbon Mast 14 while emphasizing durability and accessibility.
Full Monobloc Construction
F-One molds the mast, top plate and original TITAN foot as one structural component. The rigid assembly reduces unwanted movement and creates a connected feel between the rider, board and foil.
Pre-Preg Carbon Layup
Pre-impregnated carbon fabrics provide a controlled carbon-to-resin ratio before the mast is molded and cured in one shot. This process improves consistency, strength and mechanical performance while controlling unnecessary weight.
SPINE Internal Structure
F-One’s internal SPINE structure reinforces the mast for greater control. Carbon fibers oriented at 0° support bending stiffness, while fibers placed around 45° help resist twisting under carving and powered loads.
Factory-Finished Profile
The mast is factory sanded to refine its hydrodynamic surface. Its 16 mm profile prioritizes a dependable combination of glide, rigidity and durability rather than chasing minimum thickness at any cost.
Sizes & Recommendations
| Size | Approx. Inches | Weight | Best For | Why Choose It |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 80 cm | 31.5 in | 1.76 kg / 3.88 lb | Surf foiling, everyday wing foiling, pumping and riders who prefer a compact mast. | Developed specifically with surf foiling in mind. The shorter length supports efficient pumping, quick maneuverability and a lower chance of the front-wing tips breaching during aggressive turns. |
| 85 cm | 33.5 in | 1.88 kg / 4.14 lb | All-around wing foiling, kite foiling, larger swell and choppier open-water conditions. | Adds ride-height range, banking clearance and room to cross chop while retaining the direct response of the full Monobloc structure. |

|
Carbon Mast 16 – T1 Durable All-Around T1 |
Original TITAN riders seeking direct response, dependable stiffness and strong value. | The best T1 balance of rigidity, glide and durability, with an integrated Monobloc top plate and TITAN foot. | Slightly more profile drag and weight than the T1 HM Carbon Mast 14. |
| HM Carbon Mast 14 – T1 | Original TITAN riders prioritizing downwind glide, speed and a thinner profile. | High Modulus carbon allows a 14 mm profile with excellent rigidity and lower hydrodynamic drag. | More expensive and not as durability-focused as the 16 mm option. |
| Modular Aluminum Mast | Beginners, schools and riders wanting interchangeable lengths at the lowest cost. | More affordable, easier to replace and convertible between compatible lower connections by changing the separate mast foot. | Heavier and less responsive, with more connection points than a full Monobloc carbon mast. |
| Carbon Mast 16 – T2 | Riders building a new F-One TITAN 2 foil system. | Retains the accessible 16 mm Monobloc concept while adding the redesigned top plate and newer TITAN 2 lower connection. | Not compatible with original TITAN fuselages. |
| HM Carbon Mast 14 – T2 | Advanced TITAN 2 riders wanting the best premium balance of glide, stiffness and control. | A thinner HM carbon profile reduces drag while offering more lengths than either Carbon Mast 16 generation. | Higher price and requires TITAN 2-compatible foil components. |
Original TITAN Compatibility
Compatible Foils
The integrated mast foot fits F-One fuselages and Monobloc foil systems featuring the original TITAN connection slot. This includes compatible T1-generation F-One foil components.
Board Compatibility
The integrated four-bolt top plate connects to foil boards using the common Twin-Tracks mounting system. Confirm track spacing, screw size and available track length before installation.
Not TITAN 2 Compatible
The original TITAN and TITAN 2 lower connections are different. This mast cannot connect directly to a TITAN 2 foil or fuselage.
No T2 Conversion
Unlike F-One’s modular aluminum mast, this carbon mast has an integrated lower foot. The original TITAN foot cannot be removed and replaced with a TITAN Mast Foot V2.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this the current 2026 Carbon Mast 16?
No. This is the V1/T1 model with the original TITAN connection. The current T2 mast uses a redesigned TITAN 2 foot and is not interchangeable with this model.
Can I replace the TITAN foot with a TITAN 2 foot?
No. The lower connection is molded into the carbon Monobloc structure. The replaceable TITAN Mast Foot V2 upgrade applies to compatible modular aluminum masts, not this integrated carbon mast.
Why choose 16 mm instead of the HM 14 T1?
Choose the 16 mm mast for a more accessible balance of stiffness, glide and durability. Choose the HM 14 when reducing drag and maximizing speed or downwind glide justify its higher price.
Is it suitable for heavier riders?
Yes. The stiff 16 mm profile and full Monobloc construction make it a strong choice for larger or powerful riders who prefer direct feedback, especially when using original TITAN foil components.
