Ezzy Zorro Windsurf Sail
A fast, compact 4-batten wave sail tuned for onshore waves, jumping, and everyday sailing.
The Ezzy Zorro is a modern 4-batten wave sail designed for the conditions most of us actually sail: onshore wind, chop, and imperfect sections. It keeps speed and drive when the water is messy, then goes neutral quickly when you sheet out to surf—so you can stay fast between sections and still feel free on the wave face.
- 4-Batten Wave Sail
- Compact Outline
- Fast Acceleration
- Stable for Jumping
- Large Window
- Factory Tuned
Features
Compact Outline = Quick Turning
A compact feel helps the Zorro redirect fast—ideal for onshore wave timing, quick setups, and tight turns when sections appear suddenly.
Steady Drive Through Messy Water
Built to keep pulling with confidence through chop, whitewater, and onshore sections so you maintain speed when conditions aren’t perfect.
Neutral When You Start Surfing
The Zorro releases power quickly as you sheet out, helping the sail “disappear” in turns and giving you more freedom on the wave face.
Stable Jumping & Controlled Landings
Balanced structure and a compact handling feel make the Zorro comfortable when powered—great for boosting in onshore conditions.
Large Window = Better Vision
A generous window improves sightlines down the line and through breaking sections so you can read the wave earlier and commit confidently.
Long-Life Ezzy Construction
Built with premium reinforcement concepts (including Dyneema X-ply and durable scrim materials) for wave sailing longevity.

Mast Info
Recommended Ezzy Masts
The mast recommendations in the specs table refer to Ezzy’s mast program (including Ho‘okipa and Legacy). Matching the recommended mast helps the sail feel balanced and also makes calibrated rigging settings line up cleanly.
Bend Curve Guidance
Ezzy masts are described as constant curve, with typical bend targets around 75–79% tip and 62–65% base (bend percentages relative to midpoint bend). :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}
Using Non-Ezzy Masts
The Zorro can still rig well on many quality RDM or SDM masts. If you aren’t on the recommended Ezzy mast, you can still achieve a repeatable setup by calibrating your rigging marks once (see Calibrated Rigging).
Choosing Between 340 / 370 / 400
Follow the recommended mast for your sail size in the chart. If you’re between setups, prioritize the recommended mast length first, then fine-tune downhaul to your preferred “feel” (Max/Mid/Min).
Rigging Guide
Fast Setup Workflow
Start with your preferred downhaul mark (Max/Mid/Min) and set neutral outhaul. The Zorro responds well to small tuning changes, so micro-adjust on the beach when conditions shift.
- More downhaul: more control + more stability in stronger wind
- Less downhaul: more low-end power and deeper draft
Optional Resources (Windance)
If you upload the official Zorro catalog/spec sheet PDF to Shopify Files, you can link it in a “Resources” tab on your product page. (We’re not linking off-site here to keep customers on Windance.com.)
Calibrated Rigging
Rig in Seconds
Calibrated rigging marks are designed to make tuning fast and repeatable. If you’re using the recommended mast, simply downhaul until the bottom of the mast aligns with your desired setting.
No Recommended Mast? Calibrate Once.
If you’re not on the recommended mast, you can still get consistent rigging by calibrating your reference marks one time. After that, your “Max/Mid/Min” settings will be repeatable every session.
