Why You’ll Love the F-One EAGLE X T2

Glide That Keeps Moving

The high-aspect profile captures energy from bumps and converts it into sustained forward motion. The EAGLE X carries speed efficiently through flatter sections, helping riders connect swell with fewer unnecessary corrections.

Stronger Forward Projection

Every well-timed pumping movement produces useful forward drive. Instead of creating lift without distance, the EAGLE X projects ahead, making long downwind runs more dynamic and efficient.

More Stable, Neutral Wingtips

The revised profile reduces excessive lift near the extremities. This creates a more balanced feel, smoother power delivery and greater control when accelerating, carving or entering steeper bumps.

Fast and Slow When Needed

An extremely wide speed range combines high top-end performance with useful low-end efficiency. The foil maintains a high average speed without requiring the rider to stay fully powered at every moment.

Designed for High-Performance Downwinding

Downwind SUP Foiling

The EAGLE X is built to accelerate across bumps, project into the next swell and maintain efficient flight through softer sections. Its revised profile makes that speed easier to control during long open-ocean runs.

Wing Foiling

With a wing, the EAGLE X offers efficient takeoffs, excellent upwind travel and high-speed glide. Once the wing is flagged, the foil uses ocean energy efficiently to connect bumps and extend freefly sections.

Long Runs and High Average Speed

The foil is designed to maintain momentum rather than repeatedly accelerate and stall. Its glide and pumping efficiency can help reduce unnecessary effort across longer downwind distances.

Steeper Bumps and Tighter Lines

Improved tip control and more progressive power delivery make the EAGLE X smoother when entering steeper swell. Additional roll and maneuvering control also make it more versatile when the run calls for tighter turns.

Key Features

Refined Second-Generation Profile

The recognizable EAGLE X outline remains, but the profile toward the wingtips has been redesigned. The update improves glide, forward projection, control and overall stability without sacrificing the foil’s efficient low end.

High Aspect Ratio of 12

The high-aspect outline minimizes drag and maximizes glide for downwind efficiency. It allows the foil to travel farther from each bump, pump or change in elevation.

Centered Surface Distribution

Most of the foil’s surface area is concentrated toward the center. This helps preserve useful maneuverability and roll despite the EAGLE X’s long, high-aspect span.

Ultra High Modulus Carbon

F-ONE’s UHM Carbon layup is 1.2 times stiffer than its High Modulus Carbon and 1.8 times stiffer than regular carbon. This rigidity supports the EAGLE X’s exceptionally thin profile and provides precise, immediate feedback.

Optimized Carbon Layup

The revised construction balances stiffness and weight so the foil remains precise and reactive at speed. Rider input transfers efficiently without making the front wing unnecessarily heavy.

TITAN 2 Connection

The reinforced TITAN 2 mast-to-foil connection uses two M8 screws for improved rigidity, reliability and energy transfer. The result is a more direct feel with better response during pumping and high-speed control.

Monobloc Front Wing

The front wing and main fuselage section are molded together to remove movement from a heavily loaded connection point. Carbon fibers extend between the fuselage and wing for a stiff, direct assembly.

Pre-Preg Carbon Technology

Pre-impregnated carbon fabrics provide a carefully controlled carbon-to-resin ratio. High-temperature curing produces excellent stiffness, strength and mechanical consistency at a low overall weight.

Performance Feel

Smooth Acceleration

Power builds progressively instead of loading suddenly at the tips. This makes acceleration easier to manage when dropping into faster or steeper-moving swell.

Efficient Pumping

Pumping input is converted into forward distance, helping the foil carry momentum toward the next bump instead of only rising and falling vertically.

Stable at Speed

The revised profile and UHM construction help the EAGLE X remain precise and composed at high speed, giving riders more confidence during long glides and fast transitions.

Controllable High-Aspect Roll

Centered surface distribution and more neutral wingtips provide useful maneuverability for a foil with an aspect ratio of 12, allowing smoother downwind carves and directional changes.

Recommended Tail Pairing

EAGLE X 500–800

F-ONE’s recommended first-choice pairing for the EAGLE X 500, 600, 700 and 800 is the Monobloc Tail DW 136 XS. Its longer fuselage and high-aspect profile support pitch stability, forward projection and efficient pumping at speed.

EAGLE X 900–1000

The recommended first-choice pairing for the EAGLE X 900 and 1000 is the larger Monobloc Tail DW 156 XXS. Its added surface and span balance the larger front wings while maintaining downwind glide and control.

F-ONE second-choice pairings: Depending on rider level and discipline, F-ONE lists the Monobloc Tail DW COMP 115 XS for the EAGLE X 500–600, DW COMP 125 XS for the 700–800, and DW COMP 135 XS for the 900–1000. These are alternative performance pairings rather than the standard first choice.

Important TITAN 2 Compatibility Information

Carbon Mast Compatibility
