The original Flow D-Wing is a lightweight parawing created for riders who want an efficient way to travel upwind before stowing the canopy and riding swell downwind. Its reflex airfoil is designed to remain stable as power is reduced, while the included carbon bar and color-coded lines provide direct control and simplify on-water organization.

Choose the original D-Wing if canopy stability, predictable depower and straightforward upwind/downwind access are your priorities. The reflex profile is designed to resist unwanted collapses when depowered, helping the wing remain composed while riding through gusts or reducing power during an upwind leg.
Once you reach the swell, the D-Wing can be gathered and stored so you can foil without holding an inflatable wing or paddle. The color-coded canopy, bar and lines help identify the front of the system during stowing, relaunching and line organization.

How It Rides
Stable Reflex Airfoil
The reflex profile is designed to keep the canopy stable when depowered, reducing the tendency to deflate or collapse. That stability makes the D-Wing more predictable in changing wind and while learning parawing control.
Efficient Upwind Travel
The D-Wing develops forward drive efficiently and can point high upwind, helping riders position themselves for downwind runs without relying on a paddle or a separate shuttle.
Controllable Power and Depower
Power is controlled through the carbon bar and line system. The canopy can be heavily depowered and flown primarily through the front lines, helping reduce pull when conditions become gusty or powered.
Early Foil Takeoffs
Efficient pull helps the board accelerate and build the speed required for takeoff. Larger sizes provide useful low-end power, while the smaller options keep the system manageable in stronger wind.
Compact Stowing
Unlike an inflatable hand wing, the D-Wing can be gathered into a compact package while riding. Store it in a compatible stash belt and continue downwind with both hands free.

Premium Lightweight Construction
The D-Wing is not an inflatable wing, so it does not use a Dacron, HITEX or ALUULA airframe. Its performance comes from a lightweight fabric canopy supported by a bridled line system.

Parawing versus inflatable wing: A parawing packs much smaller and can be stowed while foiling, but it does not provide the flotation, rigid handles or simple water recovery of an inflatable wing.

Light-Wind Parawinging
The 5.5m provides the strongest low-end option, with Flow listing a reference wind range beginning at approximately 10 knots for an 80kg rider.
Important: This is not a first-time learn-to-foil product. Parawinging requires established foil control, line-management skills and a suitable safety plan. Always use an appropriate board leash and assess currents, wind direction and exit points before launching.
