Choose the 6.0m if you want improved low-end performance without committing to a very large wing. It suits lighter riders, efficient foils and sessions that may begin light but build toward moderate wind.

Everyday Light Wind

The 7.0m is a practical light-wind choice for many average-to-heavier riders. It provides more takeoff power than the 6.0m while retaining a useful 8–18-knot manufacturer range.

Marginal-Wind Sessions

Select the 8.0m when sub-10-knot riding is a regular goal, particularly with a larger board or foil. Its compact CWC geometry helps keep the added surface manageable.

Maximum Available Power

The 9.0m provides the greatest sail area in the range. It is best suited to heavier riders, extremely light-wind locations or riders building a dedicated marginal-wind setup.

Full HITEX Dacron Airframe

TECHNOFORCE/D2 Canopy

No. The sixth-generation 2026 STRIKE CWC has a full HITEX Dacron inflatable structure. The previous-generation CWC used ALUULA on its three struts.

Are handles included?

No. The wing is sold without handles. Compatible F-One soft, hybrid or hard handles and the Carbon Boom V2 are available separately.

Is the STRIKE CWC suitable for beginners?

Its stable flight, compact span and smooth power can make it approachable, particularly for heavier riders who need more low-end power. Beginners should still avoid conditions that are too light for consistent foil takeoff.

How is it different from the regular STRIKE?

The CWC uses a triple-strut layout and is offered in large 6.0–9.0m sizes for light wind. The regular STRIKE uses a conventional shape and focuses more on all-around freeride, freestyle, freefly and speed.

Does a larger CWC guarantee earlier takeoff?

More sail area provides additional power, but foil size, board volume, rider weight and pumping technique remain important. A larger front foil and efficient board can make as much difference as moving up one wing size.

Is it a wave or freestyle wing?

It can handle occasional waves and jumps, but those are not its main purpose. Choose the SWING for dedicated wave and freefly use, or the STRIKE and STRIKE QuadX for speed and freestyle.
