2026 F-One ROCKET AIR Wing Foil Board
A stable, forgiving inflatable foil board designed to make learning easier—and packing for the next session much simpler.
The 2026 F-One ROCKET AIR is built for riders who want a practical way to learn, progress and travel with their wing foil gear. Its high-volume Dropstitch construction delivers reassuring stability without the storage demands of a traditional hard board. A new carbon plate with integrated Twin-Tracks improves stiffness through the foil connection, while deck markings help newer riders find repeatable foot positions.

Why You’ll Love It
Stable Learning Platform
Generous volume and wide outlines provide the flotation and balance new riders need while handling a wing, climbing onto the board and preparing for their first foil flights.
Packs Down for Travel
Deflate the board when the session is over and reclaim the space normally occupied by a full-size hard board. It is a useful option for apartments, smaller vehicles and destination trips.
Improved Foil Connection
The updated carbon plate increases stiffness beneath the rider and incorporates adjustable Twin-Tracks for positioning a compatible plate-mount foil.
Forgiving Underfoot
High-grade Dropstitch produces a firm platform when properly inflated, while the inflatable body remains softer and more forgiving than a composite board during falls.
Progression-Focused Deck
New deck markings provide visual reference points for foot placement, helping riders build a more consistent stance as they learn to take off and control the foil.
More Than Wing Foiling
Sizes from 7'2 upward include removable fins for practicing wing handling without a foil. The 7'6, 7'11 and 8'4 are also designated windfoil-convertible by F-One.
Technical Features
High-Grade Dropstitch
Internal vertical fibers hold the deck and hull parallel under pressure, creating the stiffness needed for useful foil control while keeping the board inflatable and portable.
Carbon Plate with Twin-Tracks
A rigid carbon plate transfers rider input into the foil and allows fore-and-aft adjustment through the integrated dual track system.
Full Deck Pad
The large padded standing area supplies traction and comfort through the learning process, including knee starts and repeated water starts.
Foot-Placement Markings
Reference markings make it easier to identify useful front- and rear-foot positions instead of searching for the same stance after every start.
Optional Fin Mode
The 7'2, 7'6, 7'11 and 8'4 include US fin boxes and three removable fins, giving learners directional stability while practicing with a wing before adding the foil.
Up to 21 PSI Construction
F-One states that its Dropstitch technology permits inflation up to 21 PSI. Always follow the pressure markings and instructions supplied with the board.

Important: The 7'2 carries more volume than the 7'6 because it is substantially wider—34 inches compared with 30 inches. Choose by stability and intended use, not length alone.
Which Size Should You Choose?
5'10 — 125 L
The most compact option. Best for lighter riders, progressing wing foilers or travelers who want adequate flotation without moving to one of the longer crossover platforms.
6'6 — 140 L
Adds flotation and length while retaining a manageable 30-inch width. A practical wing-foil choice for riders who prioritize stability but do not need removable learning fins.
7'2 — 190 L
The dedicated stability choice. Its 34-inch width, high volume and removable fins make it especially useful for first-time wing handling, lessons and foil-free practice.
7'6 — 168 L
A narrower crossover platform with removable fins and windfoil compatibility. Choose it when glide and multi-sport versatility matter more than the maximum stability of the 7'2.
7'11 — 185 L
More length and volume for larger riders or anyone seeking a stable wing, windfoil and recreational crossover board without stepping up to the widest 220-liter model.
8'4 — 220 L
The largest and most buoyant ROCKET AIR. Its 34-inch width suits bigger riders, schools, shared family use and riders who want maximum stability from a windfoil-compatible platform.
Beginners should leave a generous flotation margin rather than selecting only by board length. Rider weight, balance, water conditions, foil size and previous board-sports experience all affect the right choice.
Compatibility
- Foil mounting: Integrated Twin-Tracks accept compatible plate-mount hydrofoils and provide fore-and-aft foil adjustment.
- Wing handling without a foil: The 7'2, 7'6, 7'11 and 8'4 have US fin boxes and removable fins for directional control.
- Windfoil use: F-One identifies the 7'6, 7'11 and 8'4 as windfoil-convertible.
- Footstraps: Footstrap inserts are not specified on the official 2026 product page; do not assume strap compatibility.
- Foil system: Foil, mast, fuselage and wings are not part of the board specification and must be selected separately.
Before You Buy
Inflatable or Hard Board?
Choose the ROCKET AIR for easy storage, travel and a forgiving learning platform. Choose a rigid composite board when maximum water release, direct response and performance are more important than packability.
Choose Volume First
New riders generally benefit from extra flotation. Avoid downsizing aggressively simply because an inflatable board is easier to balance than its packed size suggests.
Consider Fin Mode
If you want to practice controlling the wing before installing a foil, start with the 7'2 or larger. The 5'10 and 6'6 do not include the additional US fin-box configuration.
Check Your Foil Hardware
Confirm that your foil uses a compatible top-plate mounting system and that the supplied hardware has the correct thread, length and head profile for the board’s Twin-Tracks.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the ROCKET AIR suitable for beginners?
Yes. F-One developed the range with input from schools and instructors. High volume, stable outlines and a forgiving inflatable construction make it particularly progression focused.
Can I use it without a foil?
The 7'2, 7'6, 7'11 and 8'4 include three removable fins specifically for wing-handling practice without a foil. The 5'10 and 6'6 do not have this fin configuration.
Which sizes can be used for windfoiling?
F-One’s specification table identifies the 7'6 / 168 L, 7'11 / 185 L and 8'4 / 220 L as windfoil-convertible.
How stiff is an inflatable foil board?
High-pressure Dropstitch and the carbon foil plate improve rigidity and foil response. It remains an inflatable board, so it will not feel identical to a rigid carbon or composite board.
What pressure should I use?
F-One states that the Dropstitch construction can be inflated up to 21 PSI. Follow the pressure printed on the board and the current owner’s manual rather than exceeding the supplied instructions.
Is a small bulge near the valve normal?
F-One notes that a localized bulge around the inflation valve or windsurf mast-foot area can be inherent to Dropstitch manufacturing. According to F-One, this is not a defect and does not affect board reliability.
