Light-Wind Performance · Midlength Efficiency

2026 F-One ROCKET WING MIDLENGTH Wing Foil Board

A longer, narrower wing foil board built for effortless glide, earlier takeoffs and smooth control in marginal wind.

The redesigned 2026 F-One ROCKET WING MIDLENGTH combines the glide of a longer waterline with a slim, carving-friendly outline. Its refined volume distribution, rounded forward hull and clean-release tail help the board accelerate efficiently, lift smoothly and recover from touchdowns without feeling oversized once airborne. With seven sizes from 72L to 150L, it offers light-wind performance for a broad range of riders.

Why You’ll Love It

Gets Moving in Light Wind

The increased length, narrow outline and parallel rails create efficient forward glide, helping the board build takeoff speed when the wind is marginal.

Stable Without Excess Width

Improved volume distribution through the nose and a slightly wider tail provide stability while preserving the slim outline that makes a midlength feel fast and responsive.

Smooth Takeoffs and Touchdowns

A more rounded forward bottom helps the board glide over surface chop and recover smoothly when the nose reconnects with the water.

Carves Smaller Than It Looks

Reduced width keeps the rails clear during turns, allowing the board to roll into carves without the cumbersome feeling commonly associated with higher-volume boards.

Technical Features

Long, Slim Midlength Outline

Extra waterline length improves balance, tracking and low-speed glide while the narrow width maintains efficient acceleration and responsive rail-to-rail control.

Refined Nose Volume

Additional support through the nose improves stability before takeoff and helps the board remain composed when starting or touching down.

Rounded Forward Hull

The rounded front section reduces resistance during acceleration and helps the board transition smoothly back onto foil after a touchdown.

Clean-Release Tail Step

A bottom step near the tail creates a defined water-release point, reducing drag as the board builds speed and separates from the surface.

Foil Drive Compatible Hull

F-One removed the central bottom step previously located ahead of the twin tracks, creating the clearance needed for Foil Drive-assisted setups.

Bamboo Deck Construction

A bamboo reinforcement layer is used on the deck to balance low weight, strength and durability while providing direct feedback from the foil.

Size Guide

Size Best For On-Water Character
72 L Lighter or advanced riders Lowest swing weight and most responsive feel; the narrow 18.5" width rewards confident balance.
82 L Lighter intermediate-to-advanced riders A maneuverable option with efficient glide and slightly more support than the 72L.
95 L Intermediate and advanced all-around use A versatile balance of low-end efficiency, compact width and useful float.
105 L Average-size riders prioritizing light wind Positive flotation and stability without losing the narrow midlength riding feel.
115 L Larger riders or riders seeking more stability Added support for marginal wind, starts and touchdowns while remaining relatively narrow.
130 L Heavier riders and maximum light-wind efficiency High flotation, dependable stability and strong low-speed glide.
150 L Maximum flotation and advanced SUP-foil crossover use The most stable and supportive option, suited to larger riders and the lightest conditions.
Midlength boards are narrower than conventional boards of similar volume. When choosing between sizes, consider both liters and width—not volume alone. Less experienced riders should generally favor enough positive flotation and width to stand comfortably in local conditions.

Compatibility and Setup

Foil Compatibility

  • Integrated twin-track system for plate-mount foils
  • Compatible with Foil Drive-assisted setups
  • Confirm mast-plate hardware and Foil Drive clearance before installation

Riding Options

  • Strap inserts are fitted on every size
  • Footstraps are sold separately
  • All sizes include an integrated carry handle

Who Is This Board For?

Choose the 2026 F-One ROCKET WING MIDLENGTH if you want to foil earlier without moving to an excessively wide or bulky board. It is particularly well suited to light-wind wing foiling, efficient cruising, carving and Foil Drive-assisted sessions.

Riders focused primarily on jumping and freestyle aerials should choose a board specifically engineered for repeated impact. Riders wanting a very short, compact board may also prefer a conventional ROCKET WING shape, while advanced paddle foilers looking for maximum downwind glide may be better served by a dedicated ROCKET SUP DOWNWIND.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it good for light wind?

Yes. Light-wind performance is its primary focus. The longer waterline and narrow, parallel outline help generate speed before the foil lifts.

Is it Foil Drive compatible?

Yes. F-One removed the central hull step ahead of the tracks specifically to accommodate Foil Drive setups.

Does it include footstraps?

No. Every size has strap inserts, but the footstraps themselves are sold separately.

Can I jump this board?

No. F-One explicitly states that this board is not designed for jumping or repeated aerial impact.

Can it be used as a SUP foil board?

Advanced riders may use suitable sizes for agile wave SUP foiling or short-period downwinders, but it remains primarily a wing foil board.

How is it different from the previous model?

The redesigned range is longer, narrower and lower in volume for each comparable length. It also has revised nose volume, a smoother forward hull and no central step ahead of the foil tracks.
