Why You’ll Love the North Seek

Early, Efficient Takeoffs

A lower entry rocker and increased effective waterline help the Seek accelerate quickly and reach takeoff speed without excessive pumping.

Stable Where It Matters

Reworked volume distribution, steep beveled rails, and a squarer tail provide dependable stability during starts, touchdowns, and transitions.

Direct Foil Feedback

The deep recessed deck lowers your center of gravity and improves leverage over the foil for intuitive heel-to-toe control through gybes, tacks, and carves.

Forgiving Touchdown Recovery

Angled planing surfaces run through the tail, allowing the board to touch down at different rail angles without catching or immediately stopping.

Technical Features

Efficient Tri-Plane Hull

A central concave and angled side surfaces form two longitudinal spines beneath the board. This channels water toward the tail for faster release and smooth touchdown recovery.

Lower Nose Rocker

The reduced entry rocker increases the board’s effective contact area and waterline, helping it accelerate earlier and transition efficiently onto foil.

Square Tail

A reduced tail radius decreases drag while adding useful volume beneath the rider’s rear foot for more support during starts and when stepping into straps.

Deep Recessed Deck

The single-concave standing area lowers the rider’s center of gravity and shifts volume toward the rails, improving stability, leverage, and roll control.

Compact Outline

The compact shape reduces swing weight once airborne, helping the Seek carve, pump, transition, and rotate through freestyle moves without feeling oversized.

Steep Beveled Rails

Steep bevels preserve volume around the deck while narrowing the hull’s contact area. This improves stability at rest and reduces rail contact while foiling.

Hybrid Carbon Technology

A balanced carbon and E-glass epoxy laminate surrounds the EPS core, creating a lightweight, stiff, and responsive board with dependable everyday durability.

Reinforced Standing Area

Double bamboo reinforcement beneath the standing area improves impact resistance and rigidity, while high-density PVC reinforces the foil tracks, leash plug, and strap inserts.

Structural Stringer System

The DropBox is embedded into a closed-cell PVC block with two high-density stringers that distribute foil loads lengthwise and connect the upper and lower laminates.

DropBox Fast Foil Mount

The 165×90mm open-ended tracks allow a pre-assembled foil plate, screws, and T-nuts to drop into the box, slide backward, and tighten quickly.

Multiple Strap Positions

Centerline, offset, and V-strap inserts let you personalize stance width and rear-foot angle for natural or goofy riding—or use the board completely strapless.

GORE Protective Vent

The factory-fitted two-way vent equalizes internal air pressure during temperature changes while preventing water from entering the EPS core.

Max-Traction Deck Grip

The non-abrasive EVA deck pad features a centerline ridge, transverse stance markers, and integrated tail kick for quick, intuitive foot placement.

Integrated Underside Handle

A recessed, ribbed carry handle balances the board with or without a foil attached and leaves your other hand available to carry the wing.

Choosing Your North Seek Size

48L and 58L

Compact performance sizes for lighter or advanced riders with dependable starts. Choose these when low swing weight, responsive carving, jumping, and freestyle handling are priorities.

68L and 78L

Responsive freeride sizes that combine compact handling with more usable flotation. Best suited to progressing intermediate and advanced riders.

88L and 98L

Balanced all-around options for freeride, carving, transitions, and progression. These sizes offer easier starts without feeling excessively large once airborne.

108L and 118L

Higher-volume choices for reliable flotation, lighter wind, or heavier riders. They provide additional start stability while retaining direct foil control.

138L

The most stable and supportive size in the range, intended for beginner progression, larger riders, and anyone who wants dependable flotation at rest.

Volume Selection Tip

Choose more volume for flotation and easier starts. Moving down in volume produces a lighter and more maneuverable board but requires stronger balance and water-start technique.

Foil, Footstrap, and Foil Drive Compatibility

Industry-Standard Foil Tracks

The DropBox uses standard 90mm track spacing and is compatible with most foil systems that use a four-bolt top plate.

Fast DropBox Installation

The open-ended track system allows faster foil installation and provides an extended adjustment range for tuning the mast position to your weight, foil, and stance.

Strapped or Strapless

Centerline, offset, and V-strap inserts support multiple stance options for freeride, carving, and freestyle. Footstraps are sold separately.

Foil Drive Note

The standard 90mm tracks can accept compatible plate-mounted assist configurations. This is not a recessed Foil Drive board, so confirm battery clearance and preferred track position.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the North Seek beginner-friendly?

Yes, when correctly sized. Beginners should select enough volume for dependable flotation and stability, generally from the larger half of the range.

How is it different from the 2025 Seek?

The 2024 Seek uses a more compact nine-size range beginning at 48L. The 2025 model is longer, narrower, lighter, and begins at 58L, so the two size charts are not interchangeable.

Are footstraps included?

No. The board includes centerline, offset, and V-strap inserts, but compatible footstraps are sold separately.

Is foil mounting hardware included?

Yes. The board includes four M8×30mm foil-mounting screws and four T-nuts for the DropBox track system.
