Which Size Should You Choose?
180 L — 6'0 × 34"
Choose the 180 L if you want a slightly more compact and responsive platform while retaining considerably more flotation and stability than a conventional wing foil board. It is well suited to lighter riders, progressing beginners and travelers who value a smaller packed setup.
210 L — 6'6 × 36"
Choose the 210 L when maximum stability is the priority. The added length, width and volume benefit larger riders, complete beginners, schools and families sharing one learning board.
The LTF V2 is intentionally much larger than a performance wing foil board. New riders should prioritize stability and repeatable starts rather than downsizing based on advanced-board volume recommendations.
Two Ways to Ride
Fin Mode
Install the two included 9-inch fins and sUP WINDer keel fin. This configuration lets beginners practice holding the wing, steering, changing direction and finding a stable stance without a hydrofoil in the water.
Foil Mode
Remove the learning fins and attach a compatible plate-mount hydrofoil to the bottom tracks. The carbon plate provides the stiffness needed to transfer rider input into the foil.
Compatibility
- Foil mounting: Compatible with hydrofoils using a standard plate-mount track system.
- Foil position: Adjustable forward and backward through the board’s twin tracks.
- Foil-free setup: Includes two 9-inch fins and one sUP WINDer keel fin.

Learning Comes First

Start in Fin Mode
Beginners can remove the distraction and safety concerns of a full foil while first learning how the wing powers, steers and depowers.
Inflate It Firmly
Proper inflation is essential for foil-board stiffness and control. Always use the pressure specified on the board and in the current Slingshot instructions.
Check Your Mounting Hardware
Foil bolts are not included with the board. Verify your mast plate spacing, bolt thread, bolt length and washer setup before mounting a foil.
