2026 Surf-Performance Wing Foil Board
2026 F-One ROCKET WING-S Wing Foil Board
F-One reference: 77268-0601
Efficient glide, precise foil control and surf-inspired maneuverability for waves, bumps and committed carving.
The redesigned F-One ROCKET WING-S is longer and narrower than the previous generation, giving it better glide and smoother acceleration without sacrificing the agile handling that defines the Wing-S. Added length behind the rider improves takeoff stability, while the new round-pin tail, recessed cockpit and surf-focused outline let the board carve cleanly through waves and open-water bumps.
- 44L–80L Range
- Six Sizes
- Full Bamboo Construction
- Footstrap Inserts
- Recessed Cockpit
- 90mm Twin Tracks
Why You’ll Love It
More Glide, Easier Release
The longer, narrower outline builds speed efficiently, helping the board release from the water without giving up pumping response or maneuverability.
Made for Waves and Bumps
A surf-oriented outline and tapered round-pin tail give the board clearance and control for drawing tighter, more committed lines on the wave.
Direct Foil Control
The recessed cockpit preserves board volume while reducing thickness beneath your feet, creating a closer and more precise connection to the foil.
Stable Through Takeoff and Turns
Additional length behind the stance improves acceleration and pitch stability while keeping the rider positioned forward for responsive carving.
Technical Features
Longer, Narrower Shape
Compared with the previous generation at a similar volume, the new outline is longer and narrower for improved glide, smoother acceleration and better control during takeoff.
Rear-Focused Added Length
The additional board length is concentrated behind the rider. This supports acceleration and takeoff stability without forcing the stance farther forward.
Round-Pin Tail
The narrower, tapered tail reduces contact during steep turns and helps the board transition smoothly from rail to rail while carving.
Recessed Cockpit
The lowered standing area keeps useful volume in the board while placing the rider closer to the foil for more precise pitch control and feedback.
Double-Concave Bottom
The proven double concave helps channel water cleanly beneath the board, supporting quick acceleration and a controlled release into flight.
Beveled Rails
Beveled rails reduce drag during touchdowns and provide added clearance when the board is banked into a turn.
Pronounced Tail Step
The rear step promotes clean water release for sharper acceleration, efficient takeoffs and less surface contact once the board begins to lift.
Full Bamboo Construction
Bamboo veneers placed between fiberglass layers create a strong, durable and relatively light shell across the deck and bottom.
Footstrap Inserts
Every size is fitted with footstrap inserts, allowing riders to configure the board for strapped wave riding or keep the deck open for strapless sessions.
90mm Twin Tracks
The adjustable twin-track system accepts foil masts using an industry-standard four-bolt top plate and allows fore-and-aft tuning of the foil position.

Choosing Your Size
| Size Range | Best Match | Ride Characteristics |
|---|---|---|
|
4'10–5'3 44–53.7 L |
Advanced, lighter or highly powered riders | Lowest swing weight and the most responsive surf feel, with reduced flotation and more technical starts. |
|
5'6 61.7 L |
Experienced riders seeking balanced glide and maneuverability | A versatile middle size with added takeoff efficiency while retaining compact, responsive handling. |
|
5'8–5'10 70–80 L |
Heavier riders or riders prioritizing more flotation and takeoff support | More volume and stability before takeoff while preserving the narrow, surf-focused character of the range. |
Who Is It For?
- Intermediate and advanced wing foilers focused on waves, bumps and surf-style carving.
- Riders who want more takeoff glide without moving to a wide freeride board.
- Foilers who value a close, direct connection between their feet and the foil.
- Riders who want the clearance and low swing weight needed for committed turns.
- Experienced riders looking for either a strapped or strapless wave setup.
Foil and Footstrap Compatibility
- Foil mounting: Twin tracks with 90mm lateral spacing.
- Mast compatibility: Foils using a standard four-bolt top plate.
- Foil adjustment: Track length allows fore-and-aft positioning to tune balance and foot pressure.
- Footstraps: Inserts are fitted to every size; straps are sold separately.
- Carry handle: F-One’s current specification table does not identify handles for this model. Confirm handle placement with Windance if required.
Which F-One Board Should You Choose?
ROCKET WING-S
Choose the Wing-S when waves, maneuverability and direct foil control are the priorities. It is the most surf-focused option of the three.
ROCKET WING
Choose the standard ROCKET WING when you want a more conventional blend of stability, takeoff accessibility and everyday freeride performance.
ROCKET WING CROSSOVER
Choose the CROSSOVER when glide, light-wind efficiency and multi-discipline versatility matter more than maximum wave maneuverability.
WING-S CARBON
The separately sold Carbon version shares the same shape but uses a lighter, stiffer carbon-composite construction for more direct feedback and pumping response.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the 2026 Wing-S different from the 2024 model?
Yes. The 2026 version has a completely revised six-size range, a longer and narrower outline, a new round-pin tail and a recessed cockpit.
Is it suitable for beginners?
It is primarily a performance wave board. Improving riders can use a larger size, but a wider board will generally be easier for learning first starts and touchdowns.
Are footstraps included?
No. Footstrap inserts are fitted to every size, but the straps themselves are sold separately.
Will my foil fit?
The 90mm twin tracks accept industry-standard foil masts using a four-bolt top plate. Always verify the correct mounting hardware and bolt length.
Why is the cockpit recessed?
The recessed standing area retains board volume while placing your feet closer to the foil, improving feedback, pitch control and confidence through turns.
Is this the Carbon version?
No. This listing is for the Full Bamboo Construction model. The ROCKET WING-S Carbon is a separate product with the same shape and a lighter carbon-composite build.
