The original CORE Halo Pro is an uncompromising high-performance wing built for riders who value speed, stiffness, low weight and immediate response. Its premium ALUULA airframe uses thinner leading-edge and strut diameters than conventional Dacron construction, while the flat CoreTex 2 canopy profile delivers efficient acceleration, lift and control across a broad usable range.
A continuous full-carbon boom provides unrestricted hand positioning for freeride, freestyle and one-handed control. On a wave, the lightweight and balanced construction allows the Halo Pro to drift cleanly while the rider concentrates on the foil and the next turn.

Why Choose the CORE Halo Pro?
Choose the Halo Pro if you want a lightweight premium wing that feels exceptionally direct when pumping, accelerating, jumping or changing direction. Its stiff ALUULA airframe resists deformation under load, helping the canopy maintain an efficient shape and translate rider input into immediate forward drive.
Compared with the Dacron-framed CORE XC and Halo, the Halo Pro is lighter, more rigid and more performance focused. Compared with the newer Halo Pro 2, the original Halo Pro uses a simpler structural layout and CoreTex 2 canopy while retaining the premium ALUULA construction, full-carbon boom, high-speed profile and excellent drift that made it successful.
How the Halo Pro Rides
Direct Power Delivery
The rigid ALUULA frame transfers pumping and sheeting input directly into the canopy. Power develops efficiently without the delayed or soft response found in more flexible airframes.
Fast Freeride Speed
A flat, low-drag profile helps the Halo Pro accelerate and maintain high riding speeds. Glass battens stabilize the trailing edge when the wing is heavily powered.
Freestyle Lift and Hangtime
The stiff frame and efficient profile produce strong lift for jumps and rotations. The continuous boom provides unlimited hand positioning for grabs, spins and wing passes.
Balanced Wave Drift
Low weight and balanced flight allow the wing to remain composed when held by the leading-edge handle, reducing the corrections needed while carving or riding down the line.

Premium ALUULA Construction
The Halo Pro’s leading edge and strut use ALUULA rather than conventional Dacron. ALUULA’s high stiffness-to-weight ratio allows CORE to reduce airframe diameter without sacrificing structural support.

CoreTex 2 Canopy
CORE’s low-stretch CoreTex 2 canopy helps the Halo Pro maintain its designed profile under peak loads. The material combines strong tear resistance with UV protection and long-term dimensional stability.
Three fiberglass battens support the trailing edge, limiting unwanted movement and helping the canopy remain efficient as speed and wind pressure increase.
Continuous Full-Carbon Boom
Instead of separate handles, the original Halo Pro uses a continuous full-carbon boom. Connecting the entire grip area gives riders freedom to place and move their hands anywhere along the strut.

Halo Pro 8.0 Light-Wind Construction
The 8.0m is not simply an enlarged version of the smaller Halo Pro sizes. CORE developed it as the dedicated Halo Pro LW with a three-strut frame and specialized light-wind shape.
Additional Tip Struts
Two additional struts extend profile support from the center toward the tips. This creates more usable pressure and helps the oversized canopy maintain its shape in very light wind.
Compact Light-Wind Shape
A relatively small wingspan and projected area keep the 8.0m more manageable and dynamic than its size suggests. Its span is only approximately 50cm greater than the 6.0m.
Efficient Pumping
The rigid ALUULA framework and supported profile help create power quickly, making waterstarts and pumping onto foil easier in marginal conditions.
Speed Despite Its Size
A lower-cut profile and concave trailing edge support clean airflow, allowing the Halo Pro LW to generate useful speed instead of feeling slow or excessively bulky.

Who Is It Best For?
- Beginner progression: Not the most economical or forgiving first wing. The XC or standard Halo is better suited to early progression.
