The 2025 F-One STRIKE V5 ALUULA is the premium, higher-performance version of F-One’s flagship STRIKE wing. Strategic use of lightweight and exceptionally stiff 103g ALUULA in the center strut and Sweep Control Panel creates a more responsive wing with less drag, faster acceleration and improved control when fully powered.

ALUULA Construction Explained
Strategic 103g ALUULA
F-One strategically places 103g ALUULA where additional stiffness and weight reduction provide the greatest performance benefit. This is a hybrid premium construction rather than a full-ALUULA leading edge.
ALUULA Center Strut
The lighter and stiffer center strut uses a thinner profile to reduce drag. The result is faster response, more precise control and less weight during transitions and freefly.
ALUULA Sweep Control Panel
The continuous Sweep Control Panel reinforces the front of the leading edge and manages rearward deformation. It maintains trailing-edge tension while preserving lateral flex for comfortable pumping and energy transfer.
HITEX Inflatable Structure
High-tenacity HITEX polyester is used in the inflatable structure outside the strategic ALUULA areas. Different material weights help balance stiffness, shape retention, durability and overall weight.
TECHNOFORCE Canopy
The TECHNOFORCE polyester canopy uses a dense tear-resistant weave with a proven balance of light weight and durability.
Revised Profile and Radial Cut
The revised aerodynamic profile improves comfort and efficiency at the top of the wind range. Radial panel alignment and an updated strut-to-leading-edge connection reduce unwanted deformation and improve stability.

Manufacturer wind ranges are guidelines for a 75kg / 165lb rider. Rider weight, board volume, foil size, water conditions and experience can significantly affect the ideal wing size.
Handles or Boom?
The STRIKE V5 ALUULA uses F-One’s interchangeable control system and is sold without handles. Riders can select separate handles or a Carbon Boom V2 according to their riding style.
Soft Handles
The lightest and most forgiving option. Their flexible, soft construction is comfortable, packs easily and works well for freeriding and freefly.
Hybrid Handles
A rigid base prevents deformation while the soft grip remains comfortable. Choose these for a balance between direct control and forgiving handling.
Hard or Carbon Handles
These provide the most direct handle-based connection for precise pumping, powered riding and freestyle. Carbon handles reduce weight compared with standard hard handles.
Carbon Boom V2

Does it have good low-end power?
Yes. The revised profile retains an excellent planing start and efficient forward pull. For consistently marginal wind, however, the larger STRIKE CWC is the more specialized choice.
Is it good for wave riding?
Yes. Its low weight, maneuverability and freefly ability make it highly capable in waves. Choose the SWING if wave riding and flagging are more important than speed, upwind performance and freestyle pop.
What makes it better for freestyle?

Are handles included?
