Wing, foil & downwind

Build Your F-ONE Foiling Setup

Choose the power source first, then match the board and hydrofoil to your weight, skill level and riding goals. F-ONE's wing and foil range covers accessible progression, waves, freestyle, pumping, SUP and high-glide downwind riding, with component choices that let experienced riders tune lift, speed and turning response.

Compatibility matters

TITAN vs. TITAN 2: Check Before You Build

F-ONE moved its 2026 foil range to the TITAN 2 connection. TITAN 2 carbon front wings require TITAN 2 carbon masts; original TITAN carbon wings and masts do not cross-connect, and F-ONE says an adapter will not be offered. Do not assume compatibility from the brand name alone—confirm the exact front wing, mast, fuselage or tail generation and required hardware before ordering.

Independent since 1994

One Brand. Multiple Ways to Ride.

Founded by Raphaël and Sophie Salles near Montpellier, F-ONE has grown from rider-led board development into an independent watersports brand spanning kiteboarding, wing foiling, hydrofoils, surf, SUP and downwind riding. The common thread is equipment developed around time on the water, responsive handling and complete systems rather than isolated products.

Rider-Led Development

F-ONE's history is rooted in testing and refining equipment through riding. That practical approach continues across wings, kites, boards, foils and components.

Kiteboarding Heritage

F-ONE traces its first kitesurf board to 1997 and introduced the BANDIT in 2008, building a long-running kite platform for freeride and performance disciplines.

Wing & Foil Progression

The brand introduced a foil collection in 2015 and commercialized the SWING wing in 2019, followed by continued development in wing, surf, SUP and downwind foiling.

F-ONE Gear FAQs

Compare disciplines, sizing and component generations, then contact Windance when you want help confirming the final combination.

What F-ONE gear does Windance carry?

Windance carries F-ONE equipment for wing foiling, hydrofoiling, surf, SUP, downwind and kiteboarding, including wings, foil boards, complete foils, foil components, masts, K-Wings, Pocket-Wings, kites, kiteboards, control systems, parts and accessories. Live availability varies by model, size and season.

Which F-ONE wing should I choose?

Start with rider weight, typical wind, skill level and riding style. Stable, predictable power can make progression easier, while experienced riders may prioritize drift, speed, light-wind efficiency or freestyle response. Compare the current STRIKE, SWING, ORIGIN and CWC families by their product specifications, or ask Windance to help select a model and size.

How do I choose the right F-ONE foil board size?

Choose by discipline, rider weight, experience, length, width and volume. Higher-volume and wider boards generally support easier starts and progression, while compact or narrower shapes favor responsive carving, reduced swing weight or efficient paddle glide. The right volume also depends on whether you wing, prone paddle, SUP, downwind or use a parawing.

Which F-ONE foil family fits my riding?

F-ONE offers foil families tuned for different balances of early lift, turning, pumping, glide and speed. GRAVITY and PHANTOM options can serve lift and progression-oriented goals, while families such as SK8, SEVEN SEAS and EAGLE target different carving, glide and performance priorities. Always compare the current product description and size chart because use cases vary by size and generation.

What is the difference between F-ONE TITAN and TITAN 2?

TITAN 2 is F-ONE's newer foil connection introduced across its 2026 range. According to F-ONE, TITAN 2 carbon front wings require TITAN 2 carbon masts; original TITAN carbon wings and masts are not cross-compatible, and no adapter is planned. Confirm the exact generation of every component before ordering.

Can F-ONE foil parts from different generations be mixed?

Do not assume they can. Compatibility can depend on the mast, front wing, fuselage, tail, mast foot, hardware and connection generation. Check the product's compatibility notes and ask Windance to confirm the complete combination when mixing existing and new equipment.

What is the difference between an F-ONE K-Wing and Pocket-Wing?

F-ONE currently describes the PLUME as a K-Wing: a lightweight, compact wing intended for powered access and freefly or downwind-focused riding. FRIGATE and QUEST sit in F-ONE's Pocket-Wing range, designed to provide power for getting onto foil and then pack or stash compactly. Choose by riding objective, experience, board glide, foil efficiency and wind.

Which F-ONE kite is right for me?

Match the kite to your rider weight, local wind, ability, board and goals. F-ONE families cover freeride, waves, big air, freestyle, foil and light wind, with differences in power delivery, turning, bar pressure and depower. Compare current specifications for BANDIT, TRIGGER, ADDIKT, BREEZE, TARGET and other available models.

Which F-ONE kite bar works with my kite?

Bar width, line length, safety system, connection layout and kite generation all matter. Use the bar and line configuration specified for your exact kite, inspect lines and release components regularly, and confirm compatibility before replacing or combining parts.

Can Windance help confirm F-ONE sizing and compatibility?

Yes. Share your weight, skill level, usual wind and water conditions, intended discipline, and the exact names and years of any equipment you already own. Photos of connection points or product labels can also help the team identify the correct component. Email windance@windance.com or call 1-800-574-4020.
