What’s In The Box: Building Your Fusion Kit

The Foil Drive Fusion is a modular system. To get a complete, ride-ready setup, you will need to select the following three components:

1. The Base Kit (FD300) & Tool Caddy

Includes the Fusion electronics, the V3 Controller, and the Tool Caddy—a protective carrier that organizes your controller and hardware while providing a handle for easy transport.

2. The Battery (FD301) & Battery Caddy

• The Fusion 860 Battery: The heart of the system (864Wh).
• The Battery Caddy: A game-changer for storage. It physically protects the battery and features a display for instant charge status. Plus, use the built-in USB ports to charge your phone or cameras directly from your Fusion battery!

3. The Motor System

Select the motor that fits your foil mast.

• High Power Motor Complete (FD235):

For use with existing masts.

Pro Tip: Because the Fusion plug is positioned slightly further from the mast than previous models, we recommend sizing up your cable length by 5cm. (e.g., If you want the motor at 15cm height, order a 20cm cable).

• Integrated Mast Motor (FD255):

For a seamless, drag-free experience with compatible integrated masts (Project Cedrus, Axis, etc.).

Compatibility: The "Barnacle" for Aluminum Masts

The Fusion features a larger battery, which shifts the motor plug position.

• Carbon Integrated Masts: Most will require you to unscrew the base plate and extend the internal cable (instructions included).
• Aluminum & NoLimitz Masts: There is no room inside these masts for extra cable. You MUST purchase "The Barnacle"—a cable extension device that bridges the gap between the motor cable and the Fusion electronics box.
• Universal Motors: Simply size up your cable length by 5cm (e.g., order 20cm instead of 15cm) to accommodate the new plug position.
