A purpose-built Foil Drive setup that pairs the low-drag North Boost board with the long-runtime Fusion system for faster lift, smoother starts, and bigger ride windows.
This bundle combines the North Boost Foil Board with the Foil Drive Fusion Complete Kit “Retrofit Kit” to create a clean, high-performance electric assist package for flatwater, surf, and open-ocean foiling. The Boost is shaped specifically for electric-assisted foiling with fast release, excellent stability, and Foil Drive-friendly integration, while the Fusion system delivers high power, long runtime, and true hybrid versatility—letting you ride in full e-foil mode or switch to compact foil-assist mode depending on the session.
The Boost is purpose-built for electric-assisted foiling, and the Fusion kit is designed to turn an existing foil setup into a powerful hybrid platform. Together, they create a cleaner, more integrated Foil Drive experience.
The Boost’s fast-planing forward hull helps reduce surface drag on takeoff, while the Fusion’s high-power motor and 43V system provide the thrust needed to get on foil quickly and efficiently.
The Fusion 860 battery is built for maximum runtime and multi-hour ride potential, making this bundle a strong option for longer sessions, downwind missions, and extended practice time.
The Boost adds confidence through stable touchdowns and balanced volume, while the Fusion system supports smooth learning progression with controllable assist and strong low-end power.
Includes the Boost board only. The board is designed for Foil Drive use and is compatible with Foil Drive Slim, Max, and Fusion systems.
Important: Mounting screws and T-nuts are not included with the board.
Includes the Fusion Base Kit (FD300), MAX High-Power Foil Motor (FD235), and Fusion 860 Battery + Protective Caddy (FD301).
The motor includes a 20cm (8") cable length and a 2 propeller hub.
The Boost’s lightweight PVC / E-glass sandwich construction is designed to preserve strong Foil Drive remote signal, including in demanding situations like duckdives.
Sizes 4'9 through 5'3 use a recessed trench design to reduce drag, improve direct feel, and allow battery swaps without removing the Foil Drive unit.
The forward hull is tuned to reduce surface drag for efficient takeoffs, while the firm release edge and bevelled rails help maintain speed and stability during touchdowns.
Features like the reversed DropBox mounting track, balanced volume distribution, concaved deck, and Gore™ waterproof vent all support repeated electric-assisted foil sessions.
The Fusion system is positioned as a hybrid electric foil drive, giving you the option to ride in full e-foil mode or switch to a more compact foil-assist mode.
The Fusion platform uses an advanced 43V architecture and the 860Wh battery for strong, consistent thrust and extended ride potential.
The battery includes intelligent BMS features with Bluetooth connectivity, real-time state-of-charge and health tracking, plus app integration for smarter ride management.
The integrated battery housing improves water resistance and durability, while the included caddy protects the battery in transport and doubles as a discharge station with USB-A and USB-C charging outputs.
