This North progression wing foil package combines the 2026 Nova Pro, a carbon Seek Pro board and the accessible Sonar Prime Edition foil. It is aimed at riders who are getting on foil consistently and want to develop gybes, tacks and freeride carving. A ShiftLock Carbon Boom, board bag, pump and both leashes bring the setup together.
North designed the Nova Pro for precise response, upwind efficiency and balanced handling through maneuvers. Its positive lift helps carry the wing forward and upward through tacks, while stable trailering supports riding with the wing depowered.
The ShiftLock track lets you position and secure the carbon boom along the strut. A continuous grip gives your hands room to move during transitions, without the gap between separate handles.
The Seek Pro’s stiff carbon construction and concave deck provide a direct connection to the foil. Its tri-plane hull promotes clean release, with angled surfaces that help manage touchdowns through turns.
The Sonar Prime pairs early lift with predictable handling. Its aluminum mast and modular construction give you a practical platform for developing skills and changing compatible components later.
Best suited to: Progressing and intermediate riders ready for an 88L or 98L board. If you still need generous flotation for starts and balance practice, consider our standard Nova + Seek package with larger board options.

Assembly hardware is included: The foil edition supplies its assembly screws, T40 tool, marine grease and foil bag. The Seek Pro supplies four M8 × 30mm titanium board mounting screws and four T-nuts. The ShiftLock boom is a separate component included in this package; it does not come with the standalone Nova Pro wing.
The 88L is shorter and narrower than the 98L. Consider it when your weight and starting technique allow you to use less volume comfortably. Choosing a smaller board is useful only if it still works for your usual conditions.
The 98L offers 10 liters more volume and an extra inch of width. It is the more supportive option in this package, but it is not a substitute for a larger learning board when your weight or ability calls for one.

Board flotation depends on rider weight, equipment and technique. Neither size is a universal fit for beginners or heavier riders.
Consider the smaller front wing when your weight, technique and typical wind provide enough support without the extra area of the 1850. It can suit lighter riders or those progressing in consistent wind.
The larger front wing offers more lift support at lower speeds. It can help when additional foil area is useful for your weight or conditions, including practice sessions focused on controlled takeoffs and sustained flight.
Both editions use an 80cm AF80 aluminum mast, 700mm A700 aluminum fuselage and S270 stabilizer. More foil area cannot compensate for an undersized handheld wing or insufficient board flotation.
N-Weave45 reinforces the strut and leading-edge center, with more flexible Dacron at the wingtips. Internal Carbon UDi tapes add support. The canopy combines Matrix material with lighter N-RS3 triple-ripstop at the front, helping the wing maintain its shape under load.
A carbon outer shell and full PVC wrap surround a lightweight EPS core. This differs from the standard 2026 Seek’s E-glass and PVC deck-and-rail construction. The Pro also includes a board bag and offers centerline, V-strap and offset footstrap positions; straps are sold separately.
Pro wing and board, accessible foil: The Sonar Prime remains an aluminum-mast setup with a pre-preg E-glass front wing and carbon S270 stabilizer. This combination is selected for freeride progression, with the option to explore compatible Sonar upgrades later.

No. The included boom provides both hand positions. Use the ShiftLock system specified for the Nova Pro; GripLock handles and booms use a different mounting system.
Yes. The Nova Pro comes with a wrist wing leash, the package adds a Mystic ankle board leash, and the Seek Pro comes with its board bag. No harness or waist belt is required for the ankle leash.
Choose this package for its adjustable ShiftLock boom, Pro wing materials and compact carbon board. Our standard package offers 108L, 118L and 138L boards for riders who need more flotation. Both use the Sonar Prime foil, so this is primarily a wing-and-board upgrade.
Assemble and inspect the wing, boom and foil according to their manuals. Check both leashes, board mounting hardware and water depth. Footstraps, a helmet, flotation equipment, harness and wetsuit are not included; choose appropriate personal safety equipment for your conditions.
