Add your choice of DW900 or DW1100, the fixed S192 Glide stabilizer and a Blue Planet retractable waist leash, and the result is a focused system for launching with the Ranger, packing it away and connecting open-water bumps with less unnecessary drag and weight.

The Ranger is the specialized power source in this system. Its single-skin design, short bridle layout and compact on-water backpack make it especially well suited to riders who want to use wind power for takeoff and then remove the parawing from their hands to ride swell freely.
The ROCKET FREE DOWNWIND CARBON supports the most demanding part of that process: building enough speed to lift onto foil. Its elongated waterline, wider nose, squarer rails and carefully distributed volume provide glide and start stability, while the carbon sandwich construction reduces swing weight and gives the rider a more immediate connection to the foil after takeoff.
Under the board, the DW900 or DW1100 supplies efficient lift and forward carry. The fixed S192 adds predictable pitch support and an easy pumping rhythm, while the CF85 mast offers useful clearance for chop, rolling swell and banked turns. The retractable waist leash keeps excess line managed during the ride without limiting separation when the shock cord extends in a fall.
This is a premium performance package, not a first-time learn-to-foil setup. Riders should already have reliable takeoff, foil-height and directional control before adding parawing pack-away or open-water downwind technique.
The Carbon and standard Bamboo versions of the ROCKET FREE DW share the same proven shape, volume options and downwind program. The premium difference is construction: the Carbon board uses a high-density foam, fiberglass and carbon sandwich that is lighter and stiffer, with Carbon Twin-Tracks for a more direct mast connection.

Listed board weights are manufacturer specifications and individual production boards may vary slightly. The Carbon upgrade improves response; it does not replace the technique, conditioning or safety planning required for downwind foiling.
The Sonar Carbon Foil Edition is supplied with an S270 stabilizer as part of its standard lower assembly. That stabilizer cannot be removed from the Carbon Foil Edition product, so it remains inside the package.
The additional fixed S192 is included because its high-aspect Glide profile is the better match for this dedicated DW900/DW1100 setup. It provides efficient glide, reliable pumping and the pitch support that makes the DW foil easier to manage. The S270 can be kept as a more general-purpose alternate tail or spare for another Sonar configuration.
You will receive both stabilizers intentionally: the S270 packed with the Carbon Foil Edition and the fixed S192 for the DW front wing.
Both package sizes use the same ultra-light, stiff HD Foam Carbon Composite construction and include an installed traction pad, integrated carry handle and extended 90mm Carbon Twin-Tracks. The 95L is the more accessible choice, but neither size is a wide beginner platform. Rider weight, balance, foil experience, water state and front-wing size should all guide the final board selection.
Both front wings are paired with the fixed S192 stabilizer. Choose the DW900 for more speed and response or the DW1100 for additional low-speed lift, carrying capacity and support through softer bumps.

The DW1100 is the more supportive option. Choose the DW900 when you already generate takeoff speed reliably and prioritize higher speed, tighter response and less front-wing area.
The 3.2m keeps the setup compact for medium-to-strong wind, while the 4.2m adds useful low-end pull for moderate conditions, larger riders and combinations that need more help accelerating. Use these ranges as practical starting points:

These ranges are based on an 85kg rider using a DW1100 foil and 96L board. Rider weight, board volume, foil size, technique, current and swell can all change the correct Ranger size.

Long boards, foils and parawing equipment create several lines and hard components around the rider. The Blue Planet system keeps excess board-leash line retracted instead of dragging behind the board, helping reduce water drag and the opportunity for loose line to interfere with the foil or parawing leash during normal riding.
During a fall, the long shock cord allows the system to extend to a total of approximately 14ft. The padded waist belt keeps the connection away from the rider’s ankles and leaves the legs free for starts, pumping and recovery.
Leash care matters: flush the reel through its wash hole after saltwater use, follow the product’s lubrication guidance, and inspect the belt, cord, connectors and spring action before every session. No leash eliminates entanglement or impact risk; use proper fall technique and choose equipment appropriate for the location and conditions.
The F-One FREE DW Carbon uses industry-standard 90mm Carbon Twin-Tracks, and the Sonar CF85 mast plate uses a compatible 165 × 90mm four-bolt pattern. The extended tracks give the rider room to fine-tune mast position and front-foot pressure for the selected board and foil combination.
Mounting hardware is not included: obtain the correct foil-to-board screws and track nuts before assembly. Use hardware compatible with the North mast plate, F-One tracks and required thread engagement, and follow the manufacturers’ assembly and torque instructions.

Both boards share the same downwind shape. Choose Carbon for lower listed weight, increased stiffness, a more direct foil connection and faster pumping response. Choose the standard Bamboo version when you want the same shape and program at a lower package price.
The Carbon Foil Edition comes with an S270 as standard. This package adds the fixed S192 because its Glide profile and supportive pitch behavior are better matched to the DW900 and DW1100. You receive both stabilizers intentionally.
