Pair the compact, packable North Ranger with the responsive F-One ROCKET FREE SURF for a parawing setup built around the ride after takeoff. The Ranger supplies the wind power to reach foil speed, then packs away so you can surf the swell without a paddle or inflatable wing in your hands. Underfoot, the FREE SURF combines useful glide with low swing weight, balanced foot pressure and a shape that stays free through tighter turns. Choose your Ranger and board sizes; a waist-mounted coiled board leash is included.
Best for: experienced foilers who can manage lower-volume starts and want a surf-oriented parawing board with more carving freedom than a dedicated downwind shape. This is not the easiest package for learning to foil or learning parawinging from the beginning.
Use the Ranger to accelerate onto foil, then stow it in the included on-water backpack and ride the swell hands-free. If you come off foil, deploy it again and continue your session.
The FREE SURF uses a tapered nose and tail, reduced thickness and balanced foot pressure to feel nimble in flight and stay clear of the water during committed carves.
Its narrow, elongated outline still builds useful takeoff speed, but the board remains more surf-focused and maneuverable than the wider-nosed FREE DOWNWIND.
The North Waist Board Leash keeps its coiled cord above the water, helping reduce drag while keeping the leash farther from your feet and foil.

This package is about reducing what the rider feels once airborne. The Ranger creates the pull needed to get moving and can then disappear into its backpack. The FREE SURF continues that idea underfoot: enough length and glide to support takeoff, paired with a thinner, tapered shape that feels more natural through turns than a stability-first downwind board.
Choose this combination when carving and surf feel come first. Choose the Ranger + FREE DW package instead when easier starts, greater pitch stability and maximum downwind glide matter more than tight turning response.
All three package sizes use F-One’s light and durable Bamboo Deck Construction. Each board includes an installed traction pad, integrated carry handle and adjustable 90mm Twin-Tracks foil mount. The separate Carbon model is not included in this package.
